The essential pantry staples to stock in your kitchen

Published 2 months ago • 1 min read

Hey, Reader,

Having your kitchen well-stocked with the essentials has several benefits. First and foremost, if you have the basics on hand, there are a number of pantry staple meals you can make without having to go to a grocery store.

This helps to

  • reduce frequent trips to the grocery store (because more trips to the grocery store = more spending)
  • reduce last minute takeout orders
  • encourage creativity
  • make meal planning a breeze
  • give you a sense of emergency preparedness (how long could you live on your current food stash if a natural disaster struck?)

I've put together a list of my favorite essential pantry items to help give you inspiration. Use it a guide to fill in the gaps in your own pantry.

Note! If you’re just starting out, PLEASE do not feel the need to go out and buy everything to fill a pantry today. Pick up one bulk item per week and slowly build your own pantry over months, if not years!

Enjoy!

Hey, Reader, It took me a long time to jump on the air fryer wagon, but now that I've had one for a couple of years, I wish I got one sooner. The air fryer makes the best crispy food with almost no oil at all. It can even crisp up leftover french fries like a dream. But recently I've been using it to make the crispiest tofu of all time. Crispy Air Fryer Tofu Ingredients 1 (16 ounce) block extra firm tofu frozen, then thawed ($3.36) 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce ($0.19) 1/2 tablespoon vegetable...
